Mr. Isaac Shedowo is the Executive Director of Energy Bank Ghana Limited. Prior to his appointment in March 2016, he was the acting Managing Director/CEO of the Bank from September 2015 to March 2016. He joined the Bank as the Deputy General Manager – Risk Management, Operations, Information Technology and Customer Loyalty of the Bank where he had exercised strong leadership roles in risk portfolio management, operations, customer loyalty, strategic planning and information technology within the Bank. He was previously with the United Bank for Africa Nigeria Plc where he was Principal Manager and Regional Director (Relief) with leadership responsibilities for branches in the region. He has had Banking and Senior Management experience with Union Bank, Spring Bank now Heritage Bank and United Bank for Africa in various capacities. He holds HND in Banking and Finance from Federal Polytechnic Bida, Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from University of Ado Ekiti now Ekiti State University. He is an Associate Member of National Institute of Marketing Nigeria, Nigeria Institute of Management, The Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria. He has over 25 years banking experience and vast exposure to professional banking and education both home and abroad such as Fleming Gulf Training in Basel II and III, London Management Centre in Leadership and Supervisory Course, Lagos Business School in Total Quality Management, Energy Group in Strategies and Innovation, Private Equity Fund, and many others.
